Web cam keeps eye on festival
The Wood County District Public Library is more than just books in print anymore – it is taking
technology to a new level by offering a live Web cam of the Black Swamp Arts Festival this weekend.
The Web cam, set up by the library’s network administrator, Kevin Puffer, gives viewers a bird’s-eye view
of the north end of the festival, the intersection of North Main and Court streets, which includes the
Youth Arts area, artist booths, and visitors. The visual artists and Youth Arts area will be in full
swing on Saturday and Sunday of the festival, with live music and concessions starting today at 5 p.m.
in City Lot 2 adjacent to South Prospect Street (not visible from Web cam, however).
