Frieda L. Ruswinkle, age 99, formerly of Luckey, OH passed away on Wednesday evening, September 9, 2009
at the Genoa Care Center, where she had been a resident.
She was born in Luckey, OH on April 20, 1910 to Adam and Minnie (Sahli) Rife. Frieda married Franklin
Ruswinkle on October 16, 1930 in Zion Lutheran Church, Luckey, OH and he preceded her in death in 1976.

She had worked at American Floor Covering, Brush Wellman Luckey Plant and the former Dunrite Cleaners.

She was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, Luckey, OH, enjoyed playing the piano in the Rife
orchestra and also for many local square dances.
Frieda is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (Dick) Gremling of Toledo, OH, Elaine (Harold
"Junior") Sweet of Woodburn, IN, six grandchildren and many great grandchildren and
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; companion, Richard "Hap" Sheets;
brothers, Paul Rife and William Rife; sister, Helen Mock; and grandson, Mark Gremling.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, September 14, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the
Marsh Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 11 a.m. from Zion Lutheran Church,
Luckey, OH, where there will be additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of the services.
Officiating will be Rev. Jeanne English.
There will be a bereavement luncheon served in the church fellowship hall immediately following the
cemetery committal service.
