17th Black Swamp Arts Festival under way

A pleasant late summer evening greeted the opening of the 17th Annual Great Black Swamp Arts Festival in
downtown Bowling Green.
Four bands were on the bill Friday night, all on the Main Stage.
The art show on Main Street opens at 10 a.m. Saturday, along with the Wood County Invitational Show in
the Huntington Bank lot at South Main and Clough.
At 4 a.m. Saturday Main Street closes to vehicular traffic between Clay and Pearl streets.
Wooster Street will remain open for east and west traffic but no turns will be permitted onto Main
Street.
Music performances begin at 10 a.m. Saturday on the Acoustic Stage on South Main Street, at 11 at the
Main Stage in city parking Lot 2, at 11 on the Electronic Stage at Grump Dave’s Pub (Easystreet) and at
11 on the Family Entertainment Stage in the Youth Arts Area.
The festival runs through Sunday.
