Airport to get $69G from FAA
U.S. Sen. George V. Voinovich, R-Ohio, has announced that three Ohio airports, including Wood County
Airport, have received a combined $301,274 in funding from the Federal Aviation Administration.
Wood County Airport is receiving $69,759 to purchase snow removal equipment and design for a snow removal
equipment building.
Holiday affects refuse collection
Refuse collection in Bowling Green next week will be delayed one day due to the Labor Day holiday.

Red Cross blood drive is Tuesday
The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Student Union at
Bowling Green State University.
Luckey accepts donations for festival flea mkt.
The Luckey Area Historical Society will hold a flea market booth on Sept. 25-26 at the Luckey Fall
Festival.
People wishing to donate items should bring them to the Historical Society booth on the 25th between 10
a.m. and noon. Donations can also be made by calling (419) 833-5561.
The society has received it’s 501C and now a non profit corporation.
Calendars for 2010 are in the making and have pictures of Luckey many years ago. Calendars will be
available at the Fall Festival for $15.
The new project for the society will be working towards restoration of the old Town Hall.

Tracy Road to be widened
PERRYSBURG – Tracy Road, south of Ohio 795, will be closed for approximately 60 days, starting Tuesday.

The closure will permit road widening and reconstruction work to be completed.
