COLUMBUS – The fifth annual Best of Fall Home Show will be at the Ohio Expo Center Sept. 11-13.
The best ideas in decorating, entertaining, landscaping and home improvement will be showcased.
The headliner for the show is Rib Hillis, star of ABC TV’s "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." He
will make two appearances at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the Home Idea Center Stage. He’ll take audience
questions about his design ideas and career, then sign autographs.
With more than 300 exhibits and attractions, the show is the place to discover new decor ideas, gather
money-saving tips for winterizing, shop for accessories and find a local contractor or business to help.

Special-interest areas include Designers Showcase, Gourmet Marketplace and Landscapes That Inspire.
Other celebrity guests on the Home Idea Center Stage include Heidi Lloyd, "Taste of Home" books
vice president and executive editor, and Tovah Martin, gardening author.
On Saturday there will be an inaugural plant swap. It’s a way to "go green" and garden on a
budget, as swappers both recycle and receive free plant material and gardening tools and items.
Sunday is family day with appearances by Nickelodeon’s Diego, a Kids Korner featuring crafts and
activities, and a program by the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
Show hours are noon to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $5 at the door. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free. Huntington Bank branches are
offering $1 coupons.
