John Moser was recently chosen to receive the Gary J. Nicholson Memorial Scholarship in horticulture from
Ohio State Univer-sity’s department of horticulture and crop science.
Moser, of Perrysburg, received the scholarship in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements at
the university, and for his potential success, not only at OSU, but also in the Ohio nursery and
landscape industry after graduation.
"We are pleased to assist students of John’s caliber in our department. John is not only a great
asset to the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science, but also the Ohio State University as a
whole," said Tom Shockey, student services coordinator for the department.
Moser is the son of Bob and Maribeth Moser, Perrysburg.
