BG’s Luther earns MAC honor
CLEVELAND – Bowling Green’s Shari Luther was named the Mid-American Conference’s East offensive player of
the week after leading the Falcons to a 4-0 record and championship at the Duquesne/Robert Morris
Tournament.
Luther led Bowling Green with a .430 attack percentage and 13 blocks. Her 42 kills in the four matches
ranked second on the team and she added three service aces.
Eastwood Flag Football signup tonight
LUCKEY – Registration for Eastwood Flag Football is tonight from 6:30-8 in the high school cafeteria.
The program is open to third through sixth graders, and the cost is $30.
Wood County cross country meet set
GRAND RAPIDS – The 27th annual Otsego/Wood County Invitational cross country meet is Saturday at Mary
Jane Thurston State Park.
The race schedule is: 9:30, elementary run; 10, varsity girls; 10:30, open girls; 11, varsity boys;
11:30, open boys; and noon, adult run.
Reimold goes hitless
BALTIMORE – Former Bowling Green State University standout Nolan Reimold was hitless in four at-bats in
Baltimore’s 5-1 loss to the New York Yankees Monday.
He is now hitting .268 for the season.
