Running against lung cancer

Runners leave Perrysburg Junior High for the Free to Breath Rumble Run, a benefit run for lung cancer.
Saturday’s events were organized by Perrysburg resident Louann Cummings, a five-year lung cancer
survivor and avid runner. Participating were approximately 150 5K runners, 100 5K walkers, and 15
one-mile walkers. The inaugural Perrysburg event, which Cummings termed a “resounding success,” was one
of 23 Free to Breathe races held nationwide, and is the only one with a motorcycle ride. (Photo by J.D.
