INDIANAPOLIS – Toledo was officially eliminated from the International League’s playoff picture Monday
when Gwinnett defeated Durham.
On the field, the Mud Hens slipped past Indianapolis, 3-2 and are now 69-67 in the IL West with seven
games remaining.
Will Rhymes, Scott Sizemore, Don Kelly, Mike Hessman and Jeff Frazier each had two hits for Toledo with
Hessman driving in two runs.
Five Mud Hens will be called up to Detroit as Major League rosters expand to 40 players – Eddie Bonine,
Casey Fien, Dusty Ryan, Wilkin Ramirez and Brent Dlugach.
