Cotner appointed to commission

Steven Cotner, of Perrysburg, has been appointed by Gov. Ted Strickland to the Ohio Private Investigation
and Security Services Commission.
The commission advises the director of public safety on all matters related to the regulation of private
investigation and the business of security services. The commission advises the director on the format,
content, and all other aspects of all private investigation and security services licensure
examinations.
Cotner has served as the co-chief operating officer of Corporate Intelligence Consultants since 1977. He
also serves as an active member of the American Society for Industrial Security and Investigation
Services. Cotner is a former board member of the Ft. Meigs YMCA. He received a bachelor’s degree from
Bowling Green State University.
