Toledo Museum hosts old-time picnic

TOLEDO – The Toledo Museum of Art will host an old-fashioned family picnic Sunday from 12:30 to 4 p.m. on
the Glass Pavilion Grounds off Monroe Street.
The Good Old Days event is meant to recall the days when the museum’s founders Florence and Edward
Drummond Libbey would meet friends on Sunday on the grounds and listen to concerts.
Food will be available, including 25-cent hot dogs, and free ice cream and cake.
Performing will be a barbershop quartet, a storyteller and a magician.
A silent auction of art panels and picnic baskets will be held. Lawn and carnival games will be played
and hands-on activities will be presented along with a display of historic cars.
