Thrivent board meets Sunday
The next meeting of the Board of Wood County Chapter No. 30023 of Thrivent Financial will be Sunday at
2:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church (Latcha), 26535 Pemberville Road, Perrysburg. Any member of Thrivent
is welcome to attend.
Weston council has special mtg.
WESTON – Weston Village Council will hold a special meeting Monday at 5:30 p.m. to discuss Ohio Public
Works grant applications for 2009. The meeting will be held at village hall.
Motorcyclist injured in crash
PERRYSBURG – A motorcycle driver was in the hospital Wednesday after a collision with a vehicle in the
eastern part of the township.
The Ohio Highway Patrol reports that a vehicle driven by Trenton Sheets, 19, Walbridge, was traveling
north on Oregon Road near Starbright Boulevard at about 12:40 p.m. when his vehicle struck the rear of a
motorcycle driven by Mark Koerner, 26, of Perrysburg, which was turning left.
Koerner was ejected from the motorcycle and went to St. Luke’s Hospital with minor injuries, according to
the OHP.
Sheets was cited for failure to assure a clear distance ahead.
Montgomery Twp. Trustees change meeting
BRADNER – The regular meeting of the Montgomery Township Trustees, originally set for Tuesday, has been
rescheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the township building located at 1950 Mermill Road.
