Clean up on Saturday
Don’t be surprised to see hundreds of people in orange shirts in and around Bowling Green on Saturday.

Three area churches are joining forces for a clean-up day project. More than 250 volunteers are expected
to take to the streets after breakfast at Dayspring Assembly of God.
Members of Bowling Green Covenant Church and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church will also be participating.
"This is our gift to the community," said Pastor Dale Schaefer, of St. Mark’s. "It’s
important for people to realize that churches are more than just Sunday morning."
He also indicated the City of Bowling Green is cooperating by providing trash bags and collection points.

After the clean-up, the volunteers will gather at St. Mark’s for lunch.
Time change for ‘closet’
Evelyn’s Closet, a special program for providing clothing at minimal or no cost, will now be open from 10
a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The closet is hosted at Village View Church of Christ, 801 W. Poe Road.
