Lois V. Goodman, age 83, formerly of Perrysburg, OH, most recently of Genoa, OH passed away Thursday,
August 20, 2009 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital Oregon, OH.
She was born on January 2, 1926 in Perrysburg, OH, to Martin and Viola (Finch) Bookenberger. Lois married
Deloy C. Goodman on March 1, 1947 in Stony Ridge, OH and he preceded her in death on May 31, 2009.
She worked in housekeeping for St. Charles Hospital and Chrysler Corporation.
Lois was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge, OH; F.O.E., Rossford, OH; and Cooley Canal
Yacht Club.
In her spare time she enjoyed horses and boating.
Surviving Lois is her son: James (Sandra) Goodman of Meridian, MS; grandchildren: Victoria Everhardt of
Walbridge, OH; Deanna Hawkins of Columbia, TN; Cody (Denise) Goodman of Perrysburg, OH;
great-granddaughter: Taylor Hawkins of Columbia, TN; three additional great-grandchildren in Ohio;
brothers: Donald Bookenberger of Perrysburg, OH, Howard (Phyllis) Bookenberger of Walbridge, OH;
sisters: Doris (Fritz) Brinker, Pat Baumgartner, and Ruth (Robert) Carstensen, all of Perrysburg, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Deloy; daughter: Sandra Everhardt; infant daughter:
Joan Goodman; brothers: Dale, Martin "Bud" and Gerald "Johnny" Bookenberger;
sisters: Lillian Spahn-Johns and Jane Cook.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. John’s
Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge, OH where memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Officiating will
be Rev. Daniel Beaudoin. There will be a bereavement luncheon served immediately following the memorial
services in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, OH at
1:15 p.m.
