Every effort will be made to notify the public of any additional necessary closing of the trail as early
as possible.
Court reverses Brown conviction
The Sixth Court of Appeals of Ohio has reversed a 2007 court decision in regards to two charges against
Jeremy Brown, now age 28.
Wood County Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Pollex heard the case where Brown was found guilty in
September of 2007 of possession of marijuana and trafficking in marijuana.
The appeals court ruled the trial court erred in failing to suppress evidence which was obtained due to
prolonged questioning before searching a vehicle.
The case was sent back to Pollex and a hearing is set for Sept. 8.
