Rock ‘n’ Roar is Friday at the Toledo Zoo
TOLEDO – Three bands plus one DJ will entertain as Rock ‘n’ Roar returns to the Toledo Zoo Friday from 7
p.m. to midnight.
The music will range from the ’70s groove of East River Drive to the ’80s sound of Johnny Retro and the
Hitmen to classic rockers Suburban Legend.
Tickets are $20 for zoo members and $25 for non-members. Reserved tables of ten start at $300. Tickets
must be purchased in advance by calling (419) 385-5721, ext. 2091, or by visiting www.toledozoo.org.
Guests must be 21 or over.
Free concert is Sunday at zoo
TOLEDO – The free summer series of musical events featuring the Toledo Concert Band will conclude this
Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheatre.
Non-zoo members will have to pay $6 for parking in the Anthony Wayne Trail parking lot.
Rod’s Collision plays Friday
Rod’s Collision, a Bowling Green-based blues band, will be in concert Friday from 8 to 11 p.m. at the
Cla-Zel bar. The cover is $3.
