Pemberville churches join forces for social event
PEMBERVILLE – The Pemberville Community Church Service will be Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. There will be a social
gathering with coffee and doughnuts at 9:30 a.m.
The service will be held in the exhibition tent on the tennis courts.
The public is invited.
The pool will have a free day of swimming from 1 to 5 p.m. It is also open to the community.
Baptism service set
SUGAR RIDGE – The Sugar Ridge Community Church will hold a baptism service on Sunday at Randy Miller’s
Pond, 11610 Rudolph Road. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a church potluck to follow.

Dixieland worship in Elmore
ELMORE – Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elmore, is sponsoring their second annual "Worship in
the Park" on Aug.9, at 10 a.m.
Gathering at the shelter house in Elmore’s Well Park, musical leadership will be provided by Ragtime Rick
Grafing and his ecumenical Cake Walkin’ Jass Band.
"Last year’s worship was so well received that we immediately booked Rick and the band again for
this year," said Pastor David Nevergall. "It will undoubtedly be a very lively celebration of
the good news."
Immediately following worship, there will be a potluck picnic and games for all ages.
The entire community is invited to come for worship, for the meal and for the fun and games to follow.
