Evergreen program is next week

Those who want to grow Christmas trees are invited to a program to learn how to shape them from the
experts July 16 at 5 p.m.
The demonstration will be hosted by the Northeast Ohio Christmas Tree Growers Association and feature Jim
Brown retired OSU Natural Resources Professor who will do the "Shearing and Pruning
Demonstration." David Emmitt, Program Manager for Plant Science Technology at Cuyahoga Community
College will speak on invasive species, an important issue for area land owners and gardeners.
The shearing and pruning demonstration will be held at Sugar Pines Farm, 11281 Heath Road, Chesterland,
Ohio. There will be no charge for the event.
