Walbridge man indicted for vehicular assault PDF Print E-mail

A Walbridge man was indicted for two counts of aggravated vehicular assault by a Wood County Grand Jury on Wednesday. He was among 11 individuals indicted. In addition there were six bills of information issued for others.
Nicholas Deiter, 25, of Walbridge, was indicted in regards to an accident which occurred on Feb. 19 on Oregon Road, south of Ohio 795 in Perrysburg Township. He is alleged to have been driving while under the influence. The charges are third-degree felonies.
According to the Ohio Highway Patrol at the time of the crash, Deiter was driving a pickup truck and struck the rear of a sedan driven by Stephanie Husen of Perrysburg. She was extricated by Perrysburg Township Fire Department and transferred by air ambulance to a hospital in Toledo. Deiter was also transported by an air ambulance for treatment.
The impact forced Husen's vehicle into the path of a cement mixer truck operated by Robert Pool, Sylvania. Both charges involve Husen's injuries.
Deiter is to be arraigned before Wood County Common Pleas Court Judge Reeve Kelsey at 12:45 p.m. on March 29.
Larry Mason, 47, currently listed in Mt. Vernon, and formerly of Grand Rapids, was indicted for theft. According to court documents, Mason had rented two televisions, a stereo and a washer and dryer from a local business. He is alleged to have sold the merchandise valued at nearly $4,000.  He is due to be arraigned in Judge Alan Mayberry's court on Friday  at 1 p.m.
A bill of information was issued for Karen Przybylski, 49, of Pemberville, for deception to obtain a dangerous drug. Court records indicate as a doctor's office employee she is alleged to have fraudulently called in a prescription for herself, posing as another employee. She and others with cases before Judge Robert Pollex are scheduled to be heard on March 30 at 1:30 p.m.
Among the other indictments were four individuals for non support. James Brennan, 42, Toledo, Alan Beach, 29, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Amanda Bingle, 32, of Mims, Fla., and Henry Wintersmith, 32, Oklahoma City are each facing one count. Beach will appear before Kelsey; while the other three are assigned to Mayberry's court.
Other indictments were handed down for:
¥ Heather Dennis, 30, of North Enterprise St., for two counts of trafficking in marijuana and one count of possession of marijuana with a specification. (Pollex)
¥ Levi Warner, 21, of Fostoria, for two counts of trafficking in heroin and one count of possession of heroin with a specification. (Kelsey)
¥ Chad Aldridge, 29, of Perrysburg, for aggravated possession of drugs. (Kelsey)
¥ Jerry Jordan, 35, of North Baltimore, for disrupting public service. (Kelsey)
¥ Kashiea Thomas, 28, of Findlay, for receiving stolen property. (Kelsey)
Other bills of information were issued for:
¥ Daniel Feuerstein, 22, a BGSU student of Bay Village, for theft of textbooks from a bookstore. (Mayberry)
¥ William Zimmer, 28, of Perrysburg, for domestic violence. (Pollex)
¥ David Iwinski, 36, of Toledo, for attempted theft of a dangerous drug. (Kelsey)
¥ Seth Scharbach, 26, of Toledo, for theft. (Kelsey)
¥ Edward Lee Wahl III, 24, of Toledo, for receiving stolen property. (Kelsey)
